Career Services facilitates and organises events for employers and students to connect. Here are some of the opportunities for you to meet students from the School of Business and Economics:
Networking and recruitment events
Throughout the year, we organise events where students from a specific Master’s programme can get to know employers. This is the perfect way to inform students about your organisation in an informal setting. Events that will be held again in 2018-2019 include Careers in Marketing, Careers in Business Administration and Careers in Finance. A small contribution may be added to the participation fee, depending on the costs for room rental and catering.

Skills and career workshops for students
It is also possible to meet students in one of our practical workshops for students.
Ace the interview
Throughout the year, we organise interview training sessions especially for Master’s students. We provide this training in collaboration with a guest recruiter. The recruiter holds brief interviews with a few students and then gives feedback. The recruiter also shares tips from his/her own experience. See more information on the workshop Ace the Interview.
We have previously welcomed recruiters from companies including KLM, Unilever, NN Investment partners, Bol.com, Vice Media and Nike. ‘A real win-win opportunity. It’s great to help students prepare for job interviews, while simultaneously getting a sneak peek at who might be an interesting prospective candidate for us’.
Crack the case
We offer this training in the spring for different groups of students: Management Consulting, Finance and an open session for all third-year BSc and MSc students. The training can be delivered in collaboration with a company: in this option, the company provides a practice business case and/or gives students feedback on how they handle the case.
