In our research, we aim to participate in and shape the international scholarly debate in a broad range of fields under the umbrella of management and organization theory. We do so by publishing in internationally top-ranked journals, including Academy of Management Review, Academy of Management Journal, Human Relations, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Business Venturing, Journal of Management, Journal of Management Studies, Organization Science, Organization Studies, Strategic Management Journal, and others. Members of the department have also published numerous teaching- and research-oriented books on topics like strategic alliances, management consulting, and corporate communications. 

Research conducted at our department covers a broad range of theoretical and empirical topics. This ranges from strategic management, organization and management theory to organizational behaviour. Topics cover phenomena such as creativity, innovation, trust and teams, sustainability and corporate social responsibility, corporate governance, ethics, organizational change, strategic alliances, entrepreneurship, career development and leadership. In our research projects, we aim to collaborate both within and beyond our group, and have formed intense partnerships with researchers from other universities across the globe. Visiting researchers regularly stay at our department to work together on projects and share insights about their research.
