VU economists number 1 in the ESB Economentop 40 2018!

Of all universities of the Netherlands, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam has the most economists (10) in the ESB Economentop 40, followed by the Erasmus University Rotterdam (9), and the Tilburg University (6). The total score of the VU economists in the Top 40 is 159,151. The score of the EUR is 125,506, and the score of the TU is 106,015.

The Economentop 40 is published annually by Economisch Statistische Berichten (ESB). Ten researchers of Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam are in the Economists top 40, from which nine members are affiliated with the School of Business and Economics. New this year in the list are Mirjam van Praag (28) and Jan Rouwendal (36).
